Moving Log file

I took my production database offline first, moved LDF file to a new disk
partion, re-attached the database, and pointed to new location of the Log
file. (SQL 2000, using Enterprise manager console)
It seem to be OK, but could there be a problem doing it this way?

MCIf by "Offline" you mean that you detached the db then it should be fine.
