Moving merge replicated databases from one server to another sql server 2005

Hi,
i'm trying to move a complete sql server 2005 environment to another
machine. Server name and IP are not the same. We have actually 250
users which are using merge replication. What can I do to
resynchronize these users on the new server without reinitialize
theirs subscriptions? Is it possible?

Bets regardsWith a change of servername this is not supported, and you'll have to
reinitialize. Make sure that the subscribers all sync up, then script out
the replication setup. Drop the subscribers and publication, move the
publisher's database then edit the script with the new publisher's name and
initialize. Nosync might make things easier if you have a lot of data.
